Successful installation in UK
Zeropex completed the first successful Difgen installation in United Kingdom June 2011. The unit is version DG18-26 and the site characteristics are about 140 liters per second in flow and 7 bars in pressure difference.
The installation is on a water treatment plant of one of the major water utilities in UK. The Zeropex turbine is replacing the functionality of two pressure reduction valves, and converting the pressure drop to energy. The energy is consumed on the site as the water utility is pumping up pressure on the water after treatment.
